Memorial day weekend

We had a great memorial day weekend. It was nice having Chad home for 3 days. We attempted to go for a "hike" in Malibu canyon, which took us forever to go about 1 blocks worth. I was trying to make it the .5 mile to the rock lake where apparently a "body "was in lake. But we never made it....

And of course we went to the beach...

So yesterday I was horrified to walk in on Michael sucking on his toothpaste like it was a sippy cup. He ate almost the whole container of his toothpaste and obviously loved the stuff because I have never seen him more upset than when I took it away from him. I called the emergency number on the back and luckily he is fine, he might just feel a little quesy. Time to step up the babyproofing a notch!

Mothers Day

Chad and Michael planned a wonderful Mothers Day for me. The highlight of the day was a nice steak, potato and salad dinner Chad prepared and took down to the beach for us to eat. It only got slightly gritty after Michael kicked up some sand onto our plates. We even had some yummy brie and olives that Michael ended up loving. He even threw his binky into the container so that he could stuff some more into his mouth. We have quite the little gourmet eater here!

Camping

We went camping last weekend in Laguna Beach with the cousins. Oh, and look at my big foot!
