Product placement
I have never been a fan of ironing, and have not been that good at. Now that Chad and I are trying to cut down on our expenses, I have been FORCED to find a way to become better at ironing. I recently came across 2 products that have made this lost art form possible. First, get yourself an iron that has a lot of STEAM. Next, buy some Downy's wrinkle release spray. It states that you can just spray it on and pull out the wrinkles, but that doesn't quite work like that on Chad's shirts. But you spray that stuff on, iron, and it makes a sound like rice krispies cereal in milk, and BAM the wrinkles are gone. Works AMAZINGLY! I need to go back to Target and get a whole jug of this stuff now. Happy ironing everyone!

I HATE ironing and am still glad that I live in NYC where I can justify dry cleaning everything just because it's so easy (and so that I don't have to do it). But I should follow your example of doing it myself, and if I do, I'll remember your advice!
Hey Laura - no need to buy that stuff. Just get an empy spray bottle, fill it with water, and spray lightly on the shirt - then follow with the steam iron. That's how I've done it for years.
I have a small bottle of that-and yeah not so good with the spray alone! So Michael's saying some words, huh?? He's just growing up too fast. Miss you guys.
Chad has the crispest shirts that I have ever seen so you must be doing something right.
wow, I don't even iron-I just use the spray. my shirts still stay a bit wrinkly, but i still feel justified since i know i put at least some effort into it!
Good to know. Ironing is by far one of our least favorite things to do. Ian likes spray starch as well. I just like extra steam, but on those tough dryer-balled khakis, something else is sometimes in order. Thanks for the rec! When are you guys coming up here again?
